Stocking Stuffers: Gifts Under $25 for Artists
Who doesn’t love a bunch of valuable items or thoughtful trinkets!? Here are some of my favorite smaller items or gifts under $25 for your artist friends:
Travel watercolor palette - this is perfect for anyone on the go looking to take their art with them!
Color wheels to help with color technique and color mixing
Watercolor pencils - these are also great for on-the-go and make the perfect stocking stuffer.
Notebooks- these notebooks I created are perfect to take on the go and jot down all of your to-do lists or simple sketches to check back later.
Quality Watercolor Supplies
If you want to invest in better-quality gifts, I recommend some high-quality watercolor art supplies you know will last.
Professional watercolor paint set - Sets are great for an all-in-one gift, and this one by Winsor and Newton is one of my favorite as their professional paint line ensures that your paintings are going to last a long time as well as have beautiful pigment load!
A good sketchbook - this sketchbook is the perfect size to take anywhere and is good quality for any art medium.
Art Organization Gifts
Don’t know where to start with art gifts? Or you’re not sure what your artist has or doesn’t have? A great gift for any watercolor artist is the gift of organization. Here are some larger and smaller items that make organizing your art supplies a breeze.
Three-tier cart- this is perfect for anyone who has a smaller space but still needs to be organized
Pouch for brushes- this is great for storing watercolor brushes and is easy to store in any space.
Multi-functional box for art supplies - this is great for paints, brushes, and any random supplies and is the perfect size for sitting on a desk if needed.
Pegboard- this pegboard is great for organizing painting supplies, watercolor brushes, pencils, and more!
Watercolor Books
You can’t go wrong investing in books and especially watercolor books. There are a ton of great books out there, and if you’re looking for a more in-depth list, check out my Amazon list. If you don’t have time to decide on which to gift, here is what I recommend:
Interactive Watercolor Workbook - I have to share my newest book, Watercolor Made Simple! This hands-on resource is great for artists of any level and includes interactive guides.
A book for creativity- this is an excellent read on how to show your creativity.
Any and all of these items are great for artists of any level. And if you’re still unsure of what to gift the artist in your life, I always recommend gift cards or any of my courses. There are so many options for courses that go beyond a physical gift that will help expand your artist's skills!
