I am so excited to share that I have written a brand NEW book! In the past, I’ve created two Trace and Paint books to help you skip the sketching and pressure and get straight to practicing watercolors. This new book goes above and beyond those two with techniques and step-by-step painting projects, and I am so excited to share it with you!

My new book, Watercolor Made Simple, is a collection of techniques, projects, and encouragement to get you started painting and creating! I created this book because I wanted to create a resource for any and all watercolor artists, no matter what art stage they’re in. Whether you’re a beginner or have been practicing watercolor for some time now, this book was made for you!

You’ll learn all of my favorite techniques and supplies and paint more than 15 popular subjects such as flowers, leaves, feathers, still lifes, and simple landscapes, step-by-step. You’ll be able to get familiar with paints, brushes, and papers to use in your watercolor practice. You’ll also explore the basics, such as fundamental watercolor washes, brush stroke techniques, simple color theory, and color mixing.
This book is the ultimate watercolor artist resource, and it’s an experience that provides everything in one book. I wanted to create something that felt like taking one of my classes but could be explored at your own pace, and this was it!
