Vintage Sky - Limited Collection
One of the goals with life i design has always been to make owning original, handcrafted beautiful artwork available to everyone. I believe we all deserve to own something that inspires us and be able to embrace our individual styles. Owning a piece of original artwork from your favorite artists shouldn’t be intimidating, difficult or even very costly. Which is why I’ve released this really fun, interesting collection of original art!
Come along on a road trip as we explore the country and watch the sky change as the clouds move alongside. This collection of abstract acrylic landscapes pieces are inspired by the many road trips enjoyed this past year. Moving from small town, to small town, the view from the car window was never the same. Skies full of fluffy clouds, green grass blurred by the speed of our travels, only to be emphasized by the sun slowly setting.
This limited collection of landscapes are painted on 9.5 “ x 7” vintage book paper, and is mounted on 8” x 10” acid free watercolor paper ready to frame. I recommend that you frame this piece under glass to help preserve the quality of the paper and painting. Matte or no matte, it’s entirely up to you, however, I just love how the type and the paper frames the piece naturally.
I’m a huge fan of vintage books. The more warn, and loved, the better! I have amassed quite the collection over the years as one of my favorite things to do on trips is to explore antique shops for old books. These landscapes are painted on vintage pages from old books that I have in my collection. The paper is worn, has a beautiful tone to it and is the perfect host to these painted explorations of scenes from our travels.
Each piece will arrive with an accompanying bundle of vintage paper, pieces of pages with my brush strokes, color swatching etc. so you too can experience the tactile joy that holding vintage pages offer. Perhaps you will even use the pages in your own art work! That would be fun!
As these are original pieces, once sold out, they won’t be available again. If one grabs your eye and makes you yearn to touch it and experience it, I suggest you claim it as your own and enjoy the inspiration and beauty that each piece offers.
