Winsor and Newton Professional Watercolor Palette
If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love Winsor & Newton professional watercolor paints. They have been a favorite for a long time and I use them in many of my projects and classes.
After I released my Watercolor Made Simple Book I sent a copy to my friends over at Winsor and Newton. I was so excited when they approached me to put together this palette of colors I love and recommend.
Limited Edition Professional Watercolour Starter Set
This limited edition set is a collaboration with Winsor and Newton. The artwork on the box is a landscape painting I created specifically for the packaging. This palette features 6 individual watercolor tubes. Each box includes a sticker of my original painting. I love the sweet touch that Winsor and Newton added to this palette.
You can buy them on W&N’s website here, and the palette can also be found in a few retailers across Canada and US!
Putting the Palette To Use
This palette is what I would bring with me if I could only bring a limited amount of watercolor paints with me. I wanted colors that would work with any painting project and these are them! With these six colors you can create a variety of different color mixing options and projects. I even used all six colors inside the Watercolor Made Simple book.
Professional Watercolor Pigment
When you work with professional watercolor pigments, you will get a beautifully saturated pigment. This means a little paint is going to go a long way. I love the quality of Winsor and Newton because of this. The quality of your paint will affect the saturation and brightness of your work. And, of course, this palette includes my favorite Winsor and Newton color, Paynes’s grey.
You can watch the replay from my live unboxing of this palette over on my YouTube channel and showed you how I use each color.
A huge thank you to Manasi Jagtap over at Winsor & Newton whose passion for artists is undeniable and who worked hard to create this palette that you’ll LOVE to use, along with featuring my story on their website.
