Note to self: Trust the process
Every now and then I write a "Note to Self" when I need a reminder, a quick pick me up or think of something funny that I want to have in front of me as a reminder.
That note usually sits on my desk and when it catches my eye throughout the day, I read it and am reminded. Works like a charm for me!
This note to self has been on my desk all week.
As a creative entrepreneur, who wears many, many hats both professionally and personally, I seem to have found myself particularly unbalanced this week.
It's been one of those weeks where things don't seem to be going as planned. Projects aren't flowing and everything seems like a challenge.
Ever had one of those weeks?!
Well, I've had many! I think as an entrepreneur, we are constantly in and out of flow. That's a given. Whoever thinks that working from home is easy. Or being self-employed isn't hard work. You couldn't be further from the truth.
Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love what I do. I am blessed and fortunate to have the creative freedom and space to express my soul-filled passions, but let me tell you, this shit is hard work.
Sooooo, every now and then, when I need to push myself, I write a note to self.
This week, I trust the process. I go with the flow. I drop the things that aren't working for whatever reason and trust the process {see how repeating that note to self is already shifting your mind set?!}. Words are like magic!
Trust the process. Things will work out as they should and there's probably something better in store.
